The main improvements over the standard guide rod are:

1. Steel construction. Gain peace of mind by replacing your plastic guide rod with steel and gain the bonus of the steel guide rod being guaranteed for as long as you own your CX4.

2. Improved attachment to the plastic buffer to reduce assembly/dissassembly damage.

3. The recoil spring conveniently stays in position on the guide rod for cleaning and dissassembly of the bolt group.

4. Uses our High Durability buffer for longer buffer life and improved performance.

5. Accepts our bronze "Bolt to Recoil Spring" link for life-long reliability.
