The SierraPapa trigger upgrade is manufactured in the USA from 6061 grade aluminum. After machining the trigger is anodized to provide a durable, non-reflective, finish. The photo to the left is of a non-anodized trigger since this shows details of the trigger construction more clearly than would an anodized black finish.
1. The replacement trigger is stronger and less flexible than the original CX4 plastic trigger.
2, The replacement trigger features an adjustment screw that removes much of the objectionable pre-travel found in the original trigger group.
3. The new trigger features a permanently installed pivot pin for attachment of the first trigger operating bar which ensures less flex in the trigger movement.
4. The fixed pivot pin is slightly larger in diameter than the original pin. This removes some of the slack in the trigger movement.
5. The trigger is engraved "SP USA" to demonstrate BATFE Part 922R compliance.
For best overall results the trigger upgrade should be installed concurrently with our stainless steel hammer and reduced power hammer spring upgrades.
